M & M Country Pet Resort is located on 12 acres of beautiful country land with a completely fenced in outdoor play yard, an indoor playroom and hiking trails in the back. The kennel was built from the ground up by the previous owners which they poured their heart into to make it a bright, comfortable country setting as opposed to the cold dark institutional feeling that characterizes so many other facilities. With that being said, our facility features in-ground floor heating, a multitude of sky lights to let the natural daylight in, a fully climate controlled air purification system, and soothing music playing throughout to relax them at night. 

 

Our feline room Is located completely separate from the dogs for quiet time and relaxation with a window to watch the birds and laze the day away. Our comfortable cat suites include scratching posts and a shelf to jump on, ensuring they’ll be content whether they choose to sleep or play. Each cat is let out into our indoor playroom for extra cuddles and playtime. 

 

At M & M Country Pet Resort we never put the dogs and cats together, so no assessment is needed. We also don’t discriminate against any breeds and welcome all kinds of dogs and cats as long as they are tame enough where we can interact with them to provide the necessary care. Each pet sleep in separate kennels unless you have more than one pet and they feel comfortable being in the same kennel together.

We don’t put the dogs together due to safety. A dog fight can happen in an instant. And if we let all dogs play together we would need to assess each one to see if they are a good fit which would result in us having to turn some people away. Not every dog likes to be around or play with other dogs as they come in all sorts of ages, sizes, and different health issues. When you see pictures of more than one dog playing together it’s because they are all owned by the same person and are used to living and playing with one another. 

 

However, if socialization and pup play is what you seek, We have 4 dogs of our own, we can pick 1 that we believe would best match up and introduce to your dog. As long as the owner is present for the introduction and gives permission.
