Requirements

Proof of vaccinations and enough food for your pets stay is the only thing that is mandatory.

All else is optional. Read below for further details:

  • Vaccinations
Vaccinations are mandatory. We strive to keep Our facility as safe as possible so for that reason we ask that every dog and cat bring proof of their updated vaccinations. Dogs: Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Rabies, and Bordetella Cats: Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Rabies, and Calicivirus Some vaccinations are often like the flu shot, where he will protect from most strains but not all. With that being said, we still try to do our due diligence and take every step we can to minimize any kind of contamination.
  • Flea and Tick
Flea and Tick are NOT required but recommended. We do live in a very country setting and we’re always coming in and out with the dogs, for that reason alone we recommend that you gave some kind of flea and tick prevention to your cat or dog. Outdoor runs, kennel floors and walls are cleaned twice daily and any time in between when needed. All floor cleaners are non toxic and veterinary grade to be safe for your furry companion. All floor mats are vacuumed twice daily to minimize pet hair and dirt from being trailed around. Cleanliness is taken very seriously to prevent any kind of bacteria from growing and spreading.
  • Medication
Please inform us if your pet requires any medication during their stay. We will administer medications at no extra charge. Please label medications with your pet’s name, name of drug, and amount to be received. We are proficient in administering medications including needles, syringes, tablets, capsules, etc.
  • Medical Attention
Should your pet require emergency veterinary attention during their stay, we will take them to your vet. If your vet is unavailable (or for certain circumstances), we will use our own vet. Should we be required to pay the vet on your behalf, this will be added to your boarding bill.
  • Feeding
Please provide us with the food your pet is used to eating. This familiarity will help ease the dog into having a more comfortable stay with us, but will also prevent pets with more sensitive digestive systems from becoming ill or upset. For these same reasons we will also maintain your pet’s usual feeding schedule if you desire. We use stainless steel food and water bowls that are cleaned and sanitized after every meal.
  • Miscellaneous
Bedding from home is always welcome, however we are not responsible for any damage to these items. Some dogs chew their bedding, and you don't always get back what you brought in. If you forget to bring any, we always have extra beds and blankets that we can easily provide.
  • Hours
Are business hours are from 7:30am-12noon and then 2pm-5pm, 7 days a week. Checkout Time: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM We always charge for the day that your pet arrives, regardless of the time they come. If your pet departs by checkout time (between 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM) you are not charged for the day of departure. If your pet stays past the checkout time, you will be charged for that day as well.
  • Things to keep in mind
As your reunion with your pet will be pretty exciting, we find it easier to settle the bill first. Please try to help us remember any toys or medications that belong to your pet. Please also bring your dog’s leash, as it is returned to you when you first checked in. If someone else is picking your pet up, please inform us and leave a phone number in case we need to ask questions about a bath, etc. You may also pay ahead of time, however we will not release your pet without payment. We will not release your pet to anyone else, without prior approval. If your departure is changing, please phone as soon as possible. If you wish to pick up your pet earlier, please call us ahead of time to allow us to prepare your pet for departure. You may not want to give your pet any food or a lot of water when you get home (they are excited and need to settle) so as not to run the chance of vomiting or diarrhea
